It’s taken some injuries and a lot of ordered shoes to finally appreciate and truly love my GS:PDX’s. I have a very wide foot and wear a size 13, so finding the right shoe has always been a compromise and a pain (literally). For example, Mount to Coast is so narrow in the midfoot my feet spill over the sides. Speedland has the softest feel around the heel cup and the insole foam is a dream. The footbed is nice and wide from heel to toe. Materials look, feel and wear amazing…you can tell it’s a premium shoe. The boa dials can dig into my foot or feel annoying if I go even a little too tight…so I don’t dial them tight! I need to buy the new drop with the single boa and buckle just to see if this pressure point problem goes away. The carbon plates make the ride a little stiff so I don’t use them. I don’t think I’ll ever wear another trail shoe other than Speedland. I’m so thankful they exist! Thank you Speedland!

Amazing!
Second pair! Fit is fantastic, size is true and quality is amazing…However I have a shoe curse…I got a pair that have a slight squeak to both shoes.

Best trail shoe so far
A friend of mine has been swearing by these shoes for years. I couldn't justify $300 to try them. So, he let me barrow a pair of his for a few runs. Then I bought my own. I wish there was an easier way to test such expensive shoes.
They feel great on trail with lots of traction even in pine needles. I was running in Hoka Speedgoats. After my test run, in Speedlands, I found my Hokas to be a real drag and demotivating.
I did have some piggy toe rub on a seam in the shoe. This was better on my second run when I cinched the forefoot Boa down more. This seems to have stopped the rubbing.
FWIW, if you are wondering about sizes I wear a 9.5 in Hoka and 9.5 in Speedland.
