Great idea

Started a journey from road to trail and made these gs-pdx’s with carbitex plates my first investment. I still need to try out other shoes, but I felt every step through my legs and feet running in these. Almost like there’s no cushion. About 50 miles on the shoes so far, so the review is a little early maybe. Stability is phenomenal. Comfort around the side and top of my feet are 10/10 even on long runs. It’s the impact and beating that’s throwing me off with this shoe. I’ll try the hoka speed goat 6 as a backup shoe and see if it’s the trails or the speedlands. I’m also going to try taking out the carbon plate to see if that changes things.

Only shoes I wear for my Ultras!!

They fit just like the other Cam Hanes shoe I bought, but this black color allows me to wear them into the office in a full suit and not look like a clown. Best on Mondays, tuesdays when my feet are particularly shot up from the weekend. It’s a deep dark black color, so I doubt blood or other colors will show thru. On the baby blu first gen, I had that issue. But those still have some miles left before they are reduced to the lawn mowing shoe

Been a fan of these plates since experiencing them in the Saucony Endorphin Edge. Installed these into my Speedland GS PDXs and have enjoyed them, as expected. They keep my legs so fresh and strong, even after my 20 miler today. I’m a fan!
