Everything, from the grip of the shoe to the ability to make micro adjustments to the tightness of the shoe without having to untie anything to the perfect comfortable fit, makes these shoes the best running shoes I’ve ever owned. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. Hope they last many miles.

They are the fiedt pair of shoe I have bought that been almost a perfect fit to my extra wide feet. Love them!

I had the old Speedland SL:PDX and the one after, I bought every pair I could find. Recently the last pair died after I wore them like crazy. I was scared that I couldn't find anything else, but this shoe honestly, it's better than those. Only a little more cushion and better grip for downhill pursuits as well as a Velcro strap improve things and I couldn't be happier. I like just one Boa as sometimes the upper one got caught between rocks which caused it to loosen, or release. So glad this show exists, for me the others have way too much modsole.

Was a little nervous about buying a new-to-me shoe/brand online, but these ended up fitting really well. I've been wearing size 10 Altra Lone Peaks for a number of years and purchased size 10 in the GL:PDX. These fit slightly narrower (as to be expected) than the LPs and work really well for my foot. I've been enjoying the lacing system; it is easy to dial in and tweak while out on a run. Shoes are very grippy; I feel confident running quickly down technical terrain. I've only taken them out 3 or 4 times so far, but if they end up being as durable as people say, I could see this as being the beginning of a long relationship with Speedland and the GL platform.
