Best trail shoes I’ve ever worn. They are very responsive, comfortable and grip the ground.

I was already thinking about buying some new Speedland shoes. My GS:Tam's had become my most comfortable walking shoes, after being retired from trails. I jumped at the opportunity to demo the GL:PDX with the Angwin to Angwish crew. That nailed it! So light, bouncy & comfortable-without the carbon plate. Since buying a pair, I have worn them for several runs, & they just keep getting more comfortable the longer I run. I am a fan for life!!

Awesome shoes. Super comfortable. The micro-adjustments with the BOA during a run are great. Traction on technical trails was perfect. So glad to be running in these.

"Speedland's GL model has truly impressed me, especially as someone who typically finds maximum cushion shoes unsuitable. After experiencing the GS models, which, while undeniably phenomenal, offered slightly more cushion than I prefer, the GL model strikes the perfect balance. My preferred stack heights align more with shoes like the Salomon S/Lab Ultra 3 and the Brooks Catamount, and the GL model fits right into that sweet spot.

It's disappointing that this model won't be restocked after selling out. I was so impressed that I immediately purchased a second pair to ensure I have a replacement when my first pair eventually retires. Speedland has nailed both the cushioning and the lockdown on this model, and the grip is unmatched. I have numerous races planned with these shoes in my lineup.

I've experienced zero issues during my long runs, enjoying ample cushioning and protection. My typical route involves a two-mile road run to the trailhead, and while the lugs show some wear from the road, they still demonstrate promising overall durability. I've logged 150 miles on my first pair and anticipate many more to come.

Speedland, please consider bringing back the GL model! It's a winner."
