I'm 30 years old and have been running seriously for about 3 years. I've never been competitive but wanted to stay in shape and fell in love with running. As of about a year ago I was up to about 100 miles a week running. I developed planter faciatis pretty bad and have been biking to supplement my running. I could not get more than 10 miles without pain. With these shoes I'm back to 15 to 20 miles easy with zero foot pain. Wish I would've bought them sooner.

Fit and feel is great. I have a 4E width foot and these are the best fitting running/trail shoes I have tried. Better than Hoka, Altra, Brooks, Asics, I have tried them all. The boa adjustability is unique, taking away the worry of my shoes coming loose. I know Speedland is a trail brand but please make a road version of this shoe. Worth every penny so far!

Shoes fit true to size and feel great on foot

Speedland makes exceptional shoes. Before purchasing my GS-PGH shoes, I replaced my trail shoes every three months; I tried many brands, but none held up. At 5'10 and 180, my shoes were breaking down. Like many of you, I would read reviews of how a shoe could go 400 or more miles, but I had never experienced such shoe longevity. So, when my PGH shoes arrived in early October, I was skeptical about how long they would last. Yes, they were made well and felt great, but would they last? Well, I am writing this in April, and the answer for me is they last; these are fantastic shoes. I have genuinely tried to beat my PGHs up; rain, snow, ice, technical trails, mud, rock....they don't beak down. My shoes have over 350 hard miles on them with very little sole wear, just a small amount of wear in the heel and forefoot. After years of flipping shoes out every three months, it is shocking that I have a pair of shoes that will definitely go 600-700 plus miles; that just should not be, but I am actually experiencing it. Also, in the past, I had knee pain and hip pain that I don't have any more with Speedland shoes.
Finally, this is the only company where I can email an owner and ask my questions; for me, this is a remnant of the past that many companies I work with have forgotten.
