Amazing shoe!

Put a 100 or so miles on these when on vacation in AZ. They worked equally well on well groomed, flat, desert trails and technical, mountainous paths outside of Tucson. Highly recommend!!!

Great shoes

This is my second pair of Speedland shoes. The shoes are comfortable right out of the box. No break in period required. The boa two lace system is super convenient allowing you to tighten or loosen the shoes with a simple twist. The knit uppers are comfortable and durable. I used my first pair on the Wasatch 100 and plan on taking this pair through Western States. I have used them with and without the carbon fiber insert and love the convenience of taking it out for certain conditions. The toe box is ample. The knit uppers helps prevent gaps around the ankle that I have found with other boa lace system running shoes. The only thing that I wish was different was the I wish there built in gaiter attachments seen in other shoes.

Great

I was concerned about the toe box but it is just as wide as the altra shoes i’ve ran in. The shoes give great cushion and room. Definitely worth it

Great option

Shout out to Chris for getting back to me when I reached out for advice. I have really wide feet and have struggled to find an ultra shoe. It took a while to break these in, but one they were dialed they were keepers. Fast, responsive, a lot of protection but I still have some solid ground feel.

Continued Awesomeness

Ran the GS-RAR for 50mile training block and race, and got in last minute to the Kettle 100k and ordered the GS:CCD's to run it. Shoes showed up on time to get a few break-in miles on them before race day. Once again Speedland doesn't disappoint. Could not be happier with the shoes. Even after 65 miles, the feet felt pretty dang good. The boa's are a huge help for me, as on the long runs my feet expand and contract so a quick twist of the boa on a climb to lock in the feet before the descent is amazing. Even after 90 miles, they still look brand new. That was the huge bonus in my eyes when I switched to Speedland, I get way more miles in them than any other shoe I've ran.
